Our Programs
Carter International School works with your school to plan, design, and implement a tailored, supplementary academic program. We take our existing American K-8 curriculum content, which is based on the Common Core and NGSS standards, and align it with your local or international curriculum. Our certified, native-speaking teachers then lead engaging live, online lessons with your students while they interact on the award-winning Nearpod platform.
STEM at Home
Our STEM at Home program supplements your local science and math curriculum with engaging lessons that blend topics from Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! Our goal is to make students love STEM and to give them an opportunity for further exploration and self-expression in these subjects areas
Science Live
Our Science Live program aligns with the topics in your local science classes and brings them to life in interactive, gamified lessons. Students engage in discussions, explore virtual settings, demonstrate their knowledge of learned concepts, and compete against friends in fun games in every lesson!
Live Speaking
Carter International School reinforces your local Language Arts/ESL/EFL program with interactive English lessons led by expert native-speaking teachers. These engaging lessons give students the chance to speak and interact, while completing a wide range of language-learning activities.
Core Courses
Work with us to add an interactive element to any core K-8 subject area, including Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, or take advantage of our full core courses, which are Common Core/NGSS aligned and lead to recognized completion credentials from an American private school.
Specials
Extend your students' learning with supplementary instruction in all Specials subject areas, including World Languages, P.E., Art, Music, and beyond! Work with us to design tailored programs based on your curriculum, or offer your students our full-length Specials courses with completion certificates and report cards from CIS.
Student Support
All of our programs include student support from our team of academic advisors and learning facilitators. We work with you closely to make sure your students feel supported, and your parents feel informed. We conduct weekly progress meetings with our partner schools and share weekly progress reports on student performance
